Designing a Brand That Feels Like Home
The Greyt House is a rental home and Airbnb located in the charming town of Greyton, South Africa. Designed as a peaceful escape for couples, families, and weekend travellers, the home combines heritage charm with a contemporary comfort.
The owners came to us ahead of their launch, looking for a warm, elegant brand that felt personal. One that would elevate the guest experience and set them apart in a growing rental market. The identity we had to produce needed to live across print, packaging, digital platforms, and in-home applications, with a timeless and refined signature.
We began with a logo that combined elegant serif typography with a hand-drawn illustration of the house, turning the property itself into a recognisable emblem. From there, we expanded into a system of bespoke icons representing the experiences guests could enjoy. A warm, earthy palette inspired by the Greyton landscape grounded the identity, while clean, adaptable templates gave the brand consistency across digital platforms.
On the tactile side, we designed signage, stationery, thank-you cards, and even wrapping paper, ensuring every detail contributed to a curated, memorable stay.
